About the Role

In this dual study program for a Bachelor of Arts, you will gain exciting insights through alternating three-month theory and practice phases. You can choose from seven renowned universities in Germany to build your expertise. During your practical phases at EY in Financial Accounting Advisory Services at the Berlin and Cologne locations, you will take on attractive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Advising clients on complex accounting and financial reporting projects, such as assessing the impact of different standards (HGB, IFRS, US GAAP).
• Preparation of quarterly, annual, and consolidated financial statements.
• Implementation of technical systems for financial and non-financial reporting, and support for financial transformation projects.
• Development of solutions to make our clients' accounting processes more efficient.
• Working in small teams and participating in a mentoring program.

Requirements

• (Technical) university entrance qualification with very good grades in German, Mathematics, and English.
• Interest in economic and sustainable contexts.
• High affinity for numbers and analytical thinking, as well as very good communication skills in German and English.
• Agile mindset: You believe a flexible way of thinking is as important for success as knowledge and skills.
