About the Role
Designs, develops, and manages the entire lifecycle of a product or group of products from concept to launch and end of life. Translates market opportunities and customer demand into viable products and services that differentiate Equinix in the market. Sets the vision and strategy for their product, ensuring it is competitively positioned and customer-centric. Manages the product roadmap, including features, upgrades, and maintenance. Collaborates cross-functionally with user experience, engineering, operations, solution architects, and marketing to build and launch new products or features.
Responsibilities
- Identifies improvements to existing product processes and develops a strong understanding of processes and technology.
- Completes ad-hoc assignments to assist in the development of product strategy and roadmap.
- Researches competitors and verticals, preparing reports on financial position, competitive position, and market potential.
- Collaborates on and may create financial business models and conducts business opportunity reviews.
- Defines metrics to inform product success and drive user experience improvements.
- Designs product training curriculum and participates in cross-functional trainings and meetings.
- Identifies partners to enhance or extend the product.
- Supports backlogs, refining and adding detail as needed, and collaborates closely with technology teams.
- Refines the definition of allowable configurations, test cases, and executes UAT.
- Manages stakeholder expectations within and/or across functions.
- Identifies and proactively includes correct stakeholders and communicates effectively.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
