About the Role

Guggenheim Securities is seeking an experienced Associate to join its Digital Infrastructure Investment Banking team in New York. This role is integral to evolving client relationships and executing transactions, offering significant development opportunities in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment. The team is a market leader in digital infrastructure, advising on M&A, capital markets, and strategic projects for a diverse client base.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day project management and oversee execution on advisory and financing transactions.
  • Develop and oversee financial and accounting analyses to identify M&A and financing opportunities.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and company financials to identify client solutions.
  • Develop complex financial models for corporate finance alternatives.
  • Perform financial and valuation analysis using industry-standard and proprietary models.
  • Analyze financial records to advise management through financial projections.
  • Integrate strategy ideas into presentations for various stakeholders.
  • Conduct due diligence investigations of client companies.
  • Manage transaction evaluation, preparation, due diligence, and execution.
  • Manage the preparation of marketing materials including teasers and information memoranda.
  • Help lead deal pitches, including idea generation.
  • Act as the financial and strategic advisor for clients in conjunction with senior coverage officers.
  • Build and develop client relationships through ongoing engagement and demonstration of financial and industry knowledge.
  • Generate potential ideas and new business opportunities for clients.

Requirements

  • Requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5 years of experience or an MBA with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in IB.
  • Core modeling and valuation experience in a professional setting.
  • SIE Exam, Series 79 and Series 63 must be acquired within 150 days of employment.
  • Significant maturity and ability to work as a team interfacing with top company executives and senior management.
  • Highly organized, with initiative and ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Effective process management abilities.
  • Sell-side advisory experience is a plus.
  • Experience in the telecom & digital infrastructure sector is a plus.
