About the Role

Responsibilities

• Support in providing advice on business case development aligned with Transport for NSW, NSW Treasury, and Infrastructure NSW guidelines.
• Assist in undertaking a holistic review of investment proposals on strategic fit, impact, affordability, and deliverability.
• Collaborate within the team and across stakeholders to ensure consistent and robust practices in business case development.
• Maintain a project pipeline and compile lessons learned to drive continuous improvement in investment decision-making.
• Conduct research and develop recommendations to support evidence-based decisions.
• Support in ensuring risk assessments are conducted in accordance with Infrastructure NSW and NSW Treasury requirements.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of business case development within a government or infrastructure context.
• Ability to interpret and apply strategic investment frameworks and policy guidelines.
• Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
• Analytical skills to conduct research and provide evidence-based recommendations.
• Familiarity with delivery feasibility, procurement approach, risk assessment methodologies, and assurance pathways.
• Effective collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain up-to-date knowledge of project pipelines and strategic priorities.
