About the Role

Knight Frank is seeking a UK Compliance and Risk Manager to ensure the LLP complies with all relevant UK legislation, regulations, and industry standards. This role involves developing and maintaining compliance frameworks, managing risks, monitoring regulatory changes, and fostering a strong compliance culture.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the LLP complies with all applicable UK legislation and regulation through effective controls.
  • Identify and assess emerging legislation and regulatory requirements, evaluating impact and implementing necessary changes.
  • Develop and maintain a Compliance Risk Assessment and support the Internal Controls Framework.
  • Maintain and update the corporate risk register, assisting business leaders with risk evaluation and management.
  • Produce regular risk reports and dashboards for senior management and governance committees.
  • Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and escalate significant risk events.
  • Track mitigation plans and ensure timely completion of actions.
  • Produce UK-specific compliance Management Information (MI), analyze trends, and drive remedial actions.
  • Line manage the Residential Compliance Advisor, providing guidance, support, and performance oversight.
  • Assist Compliance Advisors with complaint responses.
  • Oversee LLP regulatory registrations and ensure timely submission of annual returns and statutory filings.
  • Lead UK compliance investigations, ensuring thorough documentation, resolution, and reporting.
  • Maintain and manage ISO standards compliance, including audits and certification requirements.
  • Promote the UK Compliance agenda through effective training programs and clear communication.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of UK regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements, ideally within the property sector.
  • Proven experience in compliance management within a regulated environment.
  • Ability to interpret and implement legislation and regulatory changes.
  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and audit processes.
