About the Role

The Public Finance Business needs a quantitative modeler and developer to build and deploy applications that manage risk, automate workflows, and integrate AI. This role involves taking ideas from concept to production, working with a modern tech stack, and directly impacting financial markets.

Responsibilities

  • Build models to understand risk accumulation.
  • Ship React dashboards to visualize model output in real time.
  • Automate workflows to improve efficiency.
  • Integrate AI agents to extract information from deal documents and flag anomalies.
  • Analyze business assumptions with data to drive improvements.

Requirements

  • Master's or PhD in a quantitative field, or strong undergraduate background with demonstrated hands-on experience.
  • Strong Python skills, writing clean, testable, production-ready code.
  • CI/CD fluency including Git and Docker.
  • Solid statistics and probability fundamentals.
  • Some exposure to fixed income or ability to learn quickly.
  • Experience using GenAI coding tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor).
