About the Role

AEGIS London is seeking a Senior Credit Controller to manage a large Delegated Authority portfolio within a high-performing team. This role offers operational autonomy, requiring extensive Lloyd’s market experience in the Delegated Authority sector. You will collaborate with in-house underwriting teams and the Lloyd’s Broker and Coverholder community.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor premium variances using dashboard analytics for the Delegated Authority portfolio.
  • Process FDO signings for designated Tier 1 accounts in a timely manner.
  • Receive paid premium bordereaux for designated Tier 1 accounts promptly.
  • Reconcile written and paid premiums to identify outstanding balances for designated Tier 1 accounts.
  • Maintain regular communication with Lloyd’s brokers to ensure timely settlement of outstanding balances.
  • Schedule in-person meetings with Lloyd’s brokers who do not meet terms of trade for balance settlement.
  • Liaise with underwriting teams regarding problem accounts and implement remedial action plans.
  • Review underlying policy documentation as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Technical Reporting on Delegated Authority Credit Control reporting requirements.
  • Assist the Head of Technical Reporting in assessing the application of Copilot within Delegated Authority Credit Control.

Requirements

  • Previous experience within the Lloyd’s market.
  • Working-level understanding of premium settlement for Delegated Authority business.
  • Familiarity with Lloyd’s binding authority format and key terms and conditions from a premium credit control perspective.
  • Familiarity with Insurers’ Market Repository (IMR) and maintaining policy documentation and settlement details.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, including IF statements, Lookups, and Pivot Tables.
  • Proficient use of dashboard analytics (Power BI) for daily portfolio monitoring.
  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
