About the Role
Touching Hearts at Home is seeking compassionate Caregivers to join their Capital District team, providing non-medical care and companionship to seniors and adults in their homes. This role focuses on helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent.
Responsibilities
- Provide non-medical care and companionship for seniors and adults in their homes.
- Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
- Assist with shopping, errands, and transportation.
- Provide social companionship, reminders, and encouragement.
- Offer standby assistance and safety oversight.
Requirements
- Caring, dependable individuals who embody Compassion, Commitment, Communication, and Consideration.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle.
- 20-25 hours of availability.
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to travel up to 15 miles for shifts.
- Daily access to email, internet, and a mobile phone.
- Must pass background and driving checks.
