About the Role
We are looking for a Test Manager Communication Management (m/f/d) for our client in the radio and communications industry. Join our expert team and work with passion and team spirit on exciting projects and future-oriented technologies.
Responsibilities
- Strategic planning, control, and monitoring of all test activities throughout the entire software lifecycle in regulated projects.
- Creation and continuous maintenance of overarching test concepts, test plans, test cases, and meaningful test reports.
- Ensuring requirements-based testing and guaranteeing complete traceability between requirements, test cases, and results.
- Acting as the central interface to project management, the development team, and other stakeholders (such as QA and Certification).
- Ensuring compliance with specifications from change and configuration management.
Requirements
- Successfully completed studies in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a comparable qualification/training.
- Several years of experience in software test management in a safety-critical environment.
- Sound knowledge of the DO-178C standard (especially DAL-D).
- Deep understanding of aviation-specific documentation requirements.
- Structured, quality-oriented way of working.
- Proficiency in common test and requirements management tools such as Jama, Jira, Xray, and Pytest.
- Solid know-how in the Linux Network Stack, Layer 3 routing protocols, and common security functions and architectures.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills for targeted collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
- Very good command of German and English, both written and spoken.
