About the Role
Walden Savings Bank is seeking an experienced Vice President, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Officer to play a critical leadership role in protecting our customers, employees, and Bank from financial crime while helping shape the future of our BSA/AML and fraud risk management programs. This is an exciting opportunity for a knowledgeable and strategic banking professional to lead, strengthen, and advance the Bank’s comprehensive BSA/AML Compliance Program.
Responsibilities
- Oversee BSA/AML compliance, OFAC, suspicious activity monitoring and reporting, KYC/CDD, fraud mitigation, and related financial crime prevention activities.
- Serve as the Bank’s Identity Theft Coordinator.
- Act as the primary resource for BSA/AML matters involving regulatory agencies and law enforcement.
Requirements
- Five-plus years of experience at a financial institution, preferably with AML/BSA.
