About the Role

Our Transport Management Team owns first-mile transport operations across Europe, focusing on planning, steering, and continuously improving daily transport flows with our carrier partners. This role is central to ensuring punctual, high-quality deliveries, a core part of our customer promise. You will have full ownership of your carrier portfolio, work independently in an agile environment, and learn from experienced logistics experts.

Responsibilities

Own on-time delivery performance by planning, controlling, and monitoring daily transport deployments.
Drive department KPIs for delivery quality, including punctuality and equipment availability.
Act as the primary contact for internal teams, carriers, and external parties regarding volumes, capacities, and delivery schedules.
Procure ad-hoc transport capacity during volume spikes through rapid negotiation to maintain continuous goods movement.
Maintain accuracy and updates in the transport management system for reliable team data.
Identify and resolve bottlenecks and inefficiencies in first-mile processes.

Requirements

A degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
1+ years of experience in freight forwarding or transport operations at a logistics company.
German language proficiency at B2 level or above.
Business-fluent English.
A proactive, ownership-driven working style with the ability to flag and solve problems independently.
Experience in e-commerce logistics operations is ideal.
