About the Role

This role offers genuine ownership of member relationships and events at a global institution, with a focus on Product Councils and supporting the wider events and programmes calendar. It's a hands-on position requiring strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end delivery of Product Councils, acting as the main point of contact for council chairs.
  • Work with chairs to build meeting agendas and shape meeting content.
  • Manage all meeting logistics, including venue, catering, AV, travel, registration, and delegate communications.
  • Manage council membership, including members rolling off, reviewing new applications, and onboarding new members.
  • Run marketing and member outreach to drive attendance at council meetings using Higher Logic and Real Magnet.
  • Keep council data accurate in netFORUM and use it to inform engagement decisions.
  • Support the delivery of European events, awards, and education programmes, both in person and online.
  • Assist with logistics, venue and supplier research, speaker briefs, and event materials.
  • Set up and host Zoom webinars.
  • Maintain the European events and programmes calendar.
  • Partner with Marketing and Communications colleagues on campaigns and materials.
  • Act as a first point of contact for the team inbox.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and invitation lists.
  • Process supplier invoices and build good working relationships with suppliers.
  • Support registration and membership revenue collection across events, programmes, and councils.

Requirements

  • Around 2 to 3 years of events experience where you have owned events.
  • Confidence with senior stakeholders, including the ability to say no when appropriate.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Clear, articulate communication, in writing and in person.
  • Ability to juggle several projects simultaneously, especially during peak event periods.
  • Initiative to utilize quieter periods effectively.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and comfort with Zoom.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe.
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends around the event calendar.
  • Experience at a membership association, professional body, or not-for-profit (preferred).
  • Marketing experience, particularly email campaigns and audience targeting (preferred).
  • Experience with an association management system like netFORUM or Higher Logic (preferred).
  • An interest in real estate, cities, or the built environment (preferred).
  • Other European languages (preferred).
