About the Role

Goldberg, Miller & Rubin is seeking a litigation paralegal to join their growing New York team. The firm is a regional insurance defense law firm with offices in Philadelphia, Manhattan, and North Jersey, known for its successful litigation of various civil liability cases and combating healthcare and insurance fraud.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in preparing civil litigation matters for trial.
• Work with clients to receive discovery documents.
• Review discovery materials.
• Draft motions and discovery responses as well as other documents.
• Draft and send out Subpoenas.
• Set up independent medical examinations.
• Review medical records and summarize important information.
• Prepare for trial.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in civil litigation, insurance defense a plus.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
