About the Role
Assist technicians and support staff in the medication order fulfillment process, including inventory control and station replenishment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in processing, filling, and shipping medication orders.
- Pull drugs and match NDC to prescription labels.
- Check and inspect incoming medication orders for accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness of work stations and the facility.
- Accurately fill individual orders.
- Contact customers regarding outgoing express shipments and address verification.
- Maintain reasonable production levels.
- Ensure quality assurance of all dispensings.
- Assist other pharmacy areas as needed.
- May assist in orienting and training new employees.
- Complete all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Must be able to work nights and weekends as required.
- Must be available and on-time for scheduled work shifts.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment and/or random drug screening test.
- Must work harmoniously and effectively with others.
- Must work within supervision guidelines and assume additional responsibilities.
- Must be willing to work variable work schedules, assist others, and perform all assigned work.
