About the Role
We are seeking a Commercial Social Producer on a fixed-term contract to create, produce, and publish engaging content across owned and social media channels, showcasing Google products and brand priorities while fulfilling partnership rights. This role involves taking content from concept to execution, collaborating with internal teams, and contributing to matchday coverage, campaigns, and partner activations.
Responsibilities
- Plan, capture, edit, and publish engaging social content that connects supporters with the club and fulfills Google partnership rights.
- Deliver high-quality content that fulfills commercial partner rights while remaining authentic, creative, and platform-native.
- Coordinate the planning and execution of content streams, ensuring accuracy, brand consistency, and timely delivery.
- Create exciting content around fixtures and events for matchday coverage.
- Proactively develop new ideas that connect football with wider culture, including fashion, lifestyle, sport, music, and art.
- Leverage analytics and audience trends to optimize content performance and improve engagement.
- Maintain the club's tone of voice, ensure attention to detail, and meet partner branding requirements.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Content & Media, Commercial Partnerships, Design, and other teams to deliver impactful content experiences.
Requirements
- Experience producing social-first content, including creating engaging digital content and using insights for creative and publishing decisions.
- Expertise in managing multiple social platforms and tailoring content for different audiences and channels.
- Advanced filming, editing, and storytelling capabilities, with the ability to manage content from concept to delivery.
- Commercial awareness, balancing creative storytelling with commercial objectives, and experience with partnership or sponsored content.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling copy reflecting the club's tone of voice.
- Proficiency in using social media and analytics tools to identify trends, measure performance, and act on insights.
- A creative and proactive approach, with a passion for innovation and staying connected to emerging trends.
- Ability to build positive relationships, work effectively with diverse stakeholders, and thrive in a supportive team environment.
- Successful candidates will be required to complete a DBS check and other essential background checks.
