About the Role
AniCura Berlin-Biesdorf is seeking a veterinarian with a passion for small animal medicine and an interest in developing their skills in dental care. The role involves general small animal care, including diagnostics, treatment planning, and client communication, with opportunities to specialize in areas like reptile or exotic pet medicine. The position also includes participation in a rotating emergency service.
Responsibilities
- Provide general veterinary care for dogs, cats, and small animals, including diagnostics, treatment planning, and client consultation.
- Communicate clearly, empathetically, and understandably with pet owners throughout the treatment process.
- Participate in a rotating emergency service to provide patient care outside of regular practice hours.
- Develop specialization in reptile or small animal medicine based on interest.
Requirements
- Completed veterinary medicine degree and a license to practice as a veterinarian.
- Ideally, initial professional experience in small and exotic animal care, preferably in a clinic setting (new graduates are also welcome).
- German language proficiency at C1 level or higher for effective communication and documentation.
- Reliable, team-oriented, and responsible work ethic, especially during busy periods.
