About the Role
As an intern in Industry Consulting with a focus on Energy & Utilities, you will work at the intersection of business, natural sciences, and IT. You will support clients in the energy and utility sector in mastering their current challenges, contributing to the energy transition, digitalization, grid expansion, sustainability, or cost optimization.
Responsibilities
- Support your team in planning and implementing the realignment of well-known organizations.
- Develop business models together with colleagues.
- Create business cases.
- Conduct market and competitor analyses.
- Optimize business processes.
- Work on central challenges in the energy and utility industry, such as infrastructure projects for DSO/TSO, asset management, grid smartification, pricing and sales strategies, and HEMS, flexibility, or digitalization solutions.
- Integrate new non-commodity business models (e.g., for PV, heat, or e-mobility).
- Support topics along the energy value chain (mid- to downstream), such as in generation, trading, and marketing.
Requirements
- You are pursuing a Master's degree in business, engineering, natural sciences, sustainability, or digital management, or a comparable field.
- You have initial experience in management consulting or with companies in the energy industry.
- You have an interest in energy industry issues.
- You have an interest in technology and digitalization topics and their integration into business models and processes.
- You are proactive and approach work independently and systematically.
