About the Role
As the first internal data hire, you will sit directly with stakeholders, turning vague requests into well-defined problems, and delivering solutions quickly. You will report to the Head of Data and work alongside an Analytics Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Own first-line scoping conversations with Marketing, Product, and Finance, asking clarifying questions and defining problems with good-enough solutions.
- Develop solutions aligned with stakeholders, maximizing impact and minimizing development time.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports for Marketing, Product, and Finance.
- Build and manage data in dbt, creating and maintaining fact tables and models.
- Own the day-to-day reliability of built assets, identifying and resolving issues.
- Question the status quo and propose improvements for processes that slow down teams.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a data analyst, business analyst, or similar analytics role.
- Proven stakeholder-facing judgment, with experience managing vague requests from non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to frame problems clearly, communicate directly, and challenge assumptions.
- Solid SQL, dbt, and hands-on comfort with a BI tool.
- Comfortable moving across domains and supporting various stakeholders.
- Opinionated but coachable, willing to challenge existing processes and accept feedback.
- Fluent in English.
- Experience with Marketing projects is a plus.
- Experience in a startup environment is a plus.
- Experience using AI tools in daily analysis is a plus.
