About the Role
JM Transportation Solutions is seeking professional and enthusiastic individuals to join its team as Shuttle Drivers for an off-campus housing location servicing college campuses in Ithaca, NY. This is a part-time, on-call position to cover shifts for drivers needing downtime. The role offers potential performance and attendance-based bonuses and is an excellent opportunity to earn extra income.
Responsibilities
- Conduct pre/post trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation using electronic inspection software.
- Drive shuttle route, picking up and dropping off qualified passengers at established stops.
- Attend and participate in safety meetings.
- Clean shuttle as necessary to maintain professional appearance.
- Report required happenings to Dispatch in a timely manner.
- Fuel the bus and take for wash and preventative maintenance.
Requirements
- State-Required Commercial Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement is required.
- Current report of Driver Physical Examination.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the operation of assigned vehicles.
- Must provide a recently obtained 3-year MVR (Motor Vehicle Report).
- Clean driving record with no more than two (2) minor offenses in the past three (3) years (and NO DUI or DWI offenses).
- Must submit to a Criminal Background Check and a Pre-Employment Drug Screen.
