About the Role

You will be responsible for the stable and secure operation of the 24/7 infrastructure, continuously developing systems, processes, and platforms. You will operate and optimize Linux-based infrastructure, automate recurring tasks, and evaluate and implement new technologies.

• Responsible for the stable and secure operation of the 24/7 infrastructure together with the DevOps team.
• Continuously develop systems, processes, and platforms.
• Operate and optimize Linux-based infrastructure.
• Think in automation: Recurring tasks belong in code, not on a to-do list.
• Continuously develop DevOps processes, toolchains, and operating standards.
• Evaluate new technologies and implement them where they create real added value.
• Advise teams on technical decisions regarding architecture, feasibility, performance, and security.
• Independently handle incidents, analyze causes, and ensure problems do not recur with sustainable solutions.
• Support employees with technical issues related to their work environment and ensure a reliable workplace.

Requirements

• Completed studies in the IT environment or a comparable technical training.
• Several years of practical experience in the operation and administration of Linux systems.
• Good understanding of modern web, application, and database servers and their interaction.
• Practical experience in the administration and operation of databases.
• Solid knowledge of network technologies such as TCP/IP, switching, and routing, as well as experience with firewalls and load balancers.
• Experience with automation in the IT and infrastructure environment.
• Confident use of scripting languages, especially Python and Bash.
• Work in a structured manner, think solution-oriented, and feel comfortable in complex technical environments.
