About the Role
ClearGrid is revolutionizing the debt resolution industry with cutting-edge AI and advanced analytics. This role exists to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data that drives collections journeys across multiple channels and for financial institutions in the UAE and KSA.
Responsibilities
- Test coverage in dbt across staging, intermediate and mart layers, including business-rule tests.
- Perform source-to-warehouse reconciliation between MongoDB, telephony systems, client files, and BigQuery.
- Monitor freshness, volume, and schema-drift on critical tables.
- Conduct inbound client file QA, validating lender account files before they enter the journey.
- Perform report and dashboard QA, checking headline numbers, filters, date ranges, and metric consistency.
- Conduct pre-release QA of new dbt models and metric definitions.
- Manage the data incident process, including detection, triage, stakeholder communication, root cause analysis, and resolution.
Requirements
- 2+ years in data quality, analytics engineering, BI QA, or a data analyst role with heavy quality ownership.
- Strong SQL skills, including CTEs, window functions, incremental patterns, and awareness of query cost.
- Proficiency in Python for validation scripts and automation (pandas or equivalent).
- Experience with Git-based workflow: branches, pull requests, and code review.
- An investigative temperament to understand the root cause of data issues.
- Clear written communication skills for explaining data problems.
