About the Role
The Pre-sales Expert acts as the technical reference and focal point for Regions, supporting the identification and definition of optimal technical solutions for customer opportunities. This role interfaces between Regions and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between customer needs and solution capabilities, contributing to competitive and commercially viable proposals.
Responsibilities
- Act as the main technical contact for Regions requiring Smart ID expertise during the pre-sales process.
- Analyze customer requirements and recommend the most appropriate technical solution.
- Support the definition of solution architecture and ensure alignment with the Smart ID product portfolio.
- Define and coordinate product demonstrations tailored to customer needs.
- Provide technical support during customer meetings, workshops, and bid presentations.
- Help customers understand the value and capabilities of the Smart ID solutions.
- Coordinate the technical contributions required throughout the pre-sales process.
- Coordinate solution quotations with relevant teams.
- Support offer submissions and customer bid presentations.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Science, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience (typically 3–5+ years) in technical pre-sales, solution architecture, systems engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
- Strong knowledge of pre-sales processes and solution definition.
- Experience in solution architecture and systems engineering.
- Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Experience coordinating technical activities across multiple teams.
