About the Role
We are seeking to expand our team with 35 hours per week to provide more children with an equal start in life. You will help shape a place where children and their families feel welcome and where everyone interacts with respect and on equal terms.
Responsibilities
- Taking responsibility for the most important members of our society.
- Supporting children in developing their own abilities, observing and documenting developmental steps.
- Planning and integrating various activities with and for the children, such as excursions and long-term projects, into the daily routine.
- Engaging in dialogue with parents and guardians, recognizing them as partners in the educational process.
- Contributing to the continuous development of our Kita and participating in shaping its concept.
Requirements
- Completed training as a state-recognized educator or an equivalent qualification according to the state's Kita legislation.
- Ideally, experience working with children requiring integration support.
- Ability to communicate openly, respectfully, and clearly with colleagues, parents, and children.
- Knowledge of current pedagogical and legal requirements.

About the Company
- Kita St. Marien is located in Reinickendorf, Berlin, near the Residenzstraße U-Bahn station and is well-connected by bus.
- We care for up to 75 children aged one year to school entry.
