About the Role
Aon Japan provides risk solution services primarily to Japanese global companies and multinational corporations with overseas bases. The AGCN (Aon Global Client Network) inward division serves multinational corporations with overseas bases in Japan as a P&C insurance agent. The Account Executive will be responsible for managing existing insurance contracts within global programs and developing new business for AGCN clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily services to clients.
- Proactively coordinate the renewal process and complete all necessary procedures within deadlines, including preparing/checking expiration notices, reviewing applications, submitting to the market, preparing policy terms, securing coverage before inception, and responding to client requests.
- Respond promptly to written and verbal communications from clients, insurance companies, and other Aon offices.
- Coordinate with other Aon offices to ensure smooth operations for clients.
- Develop and generate new business by leveraging Aon's global network resources.
- Monitor claims handling status.
- Perform assigned duties.
- Negotiate and communicate with insurance companies to obtain quotes, building and maintaining good business relationships.
- Acquire and update necessary insurance business knowledge in a timely manner.
- Manage schedules.
- Comply with Aon's global and local compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Organizational skills: Ability to organize, prioritize workflows and deadlines, and manage and control progress flexibly.
- High communication skills.
- English communication skills (reading, speaking, writing).
- Practical experience in the insurance market (insurance company or broker/agency).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
