About the Role
The Associate Project Manager will support the Overhead Distribution, Underground Distribution, and Civil Construction teams. This role assists in managing multiple projects, providing support during preconstruction and project execution phases, coordinating project plans, schedules, and tracking progress.
Responsibilities
- Oversee construction projects from start to finish.
- Manage preconstruction paperwork and engage with all internal and external parties.
- Manage day-to-day project activities, including POD and timesheets.
- Assist in project planning, budgeting, and resource identification.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure understanding of project activities, schedules, and deliverables.
- Manage client responsibilities and expectations.
- Develop team member objectives and assign individual responsibilities with management.
- Ensure construction activities adhere to the predetermined schedule.
- Monitor construction activities progress regularly.
- Demonstrate effective time management and logical decision-making abilities.
Requirements
- Ability to multitask and maintain effectiveness with multiple priorities.
- Professional demeanor; remain calm and emotionally controlled under pressure.
- Ability to follow directions and take initiative when required.
- Excellent communication, accounting, and organizational skills.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office and Timberline.
- Basic to good understanding of construction means and methods.
- Basic understanding/proficiency with spreadsheets, email, and other software used in the construction industry.
- Completed OSHA ET&D Training.
