About the Role
As part of KPMG's Audit & Assurance practice, you will deliver high-quality work supporting trust, transparency, and confidence across public and private organizations. This role focuses on data analysis and automation within the Department of Professional Practice (DPP), aiming to enhance audit productivity through innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Act as a manager on the Audit Productivity team with a focus on data analysis and automation.
- Manage updates, maintenance, and support for audit teams using the automated budget dashboard.
- Manage updates, maintenance, and support for audit teams using the milestone monitoring dashboard.
- Manage updates, maintenance, and support for the national office using data mining from KCw Data Mining.
- Develop end-user dashboard solutions for project management of audits and central monitoring of audit progress.
- Develop automated solutions for large engagement teams as needed.
- Coach, supervise, and review the work of junior team members, including audit project coordinators.
- Design automated feedback solutions for audit productivity tools and dashboards.
- Liaise with subject matter experts to identify needs and obtain access to information for automated processes.
- Perform testing of new automated tools and dashboards, maintaining records of results.
- Identify problems with internal audit processes and develop automated solutions.
- Prepare quarterly reporting for national and global leadership.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in financial data analysis.
- Experience and ability to coach, supervise, and review the work of junior employees.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to self-review.
- Self-starter who identifies process gaps and advocates for solutions.
- Written and oral fluency in English.
- May be required to support or collaborate with English-speaking colleagues or stakeholders.
- May be required to create, interpret, and/or apply policies, practices, laws, and/or regulations.
Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (Power Query, VBA).
- Intermediate/Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
- Intermediate/Advanced proficiency working with databases.
- Experience with SQL, SharePoint, and RPA tools.

- BC Region: $86,000 - $150,000
