About the Role

As a Risk Settlement Senior Consultant, you will be a key member of the 70-strong Risk Settlement Group, contributing to a diverse range of experts and specialist sub-teams. You will provide senior support or lead transaction advisory roles on settlement transactions within the pension risk transfer market, manage transaction execution, and advise clients on their strategic 'Journey to Settlement'. This role also involves developing external relationships, contributing to new business opportunities, and playing a role in the growth and strategic development of the team.

Responsibilities

Provide senior support or lead transaction advisory roles on a range of settlement transactions including buy-ins, buy-outs, wind-ups, longevity swaps, and consolidation/capital solutions.
Manage the execution of transactions, ensuring timely and on-budget completion, and lead stakeholder relationships.
Advise clients on their strategic 'Journey to Settlement', including market preparation and feasibility.
Develop relationships with external stakeholders such as trustees, sponsors, and other transaction advisers to identify settlement opportunities.
Take a central role in new business opportunities and internal/external initiatives.
Leverage settlement market knowledge to provide innovative client solutions.
Support marketing initiatives and media engagement, including annual campaigns and risk settlement conferences.
Contribute to the growth of the team.
Develop and implement new strategies and propositions within the Risk Settlement Group.
Coach, mentor, and support direct and indirect reports to foster future leaders.

Requirements

Track record of delivery on settlement transactions.
Wide industry experience coupled with sound technical capability.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
