About the Role
Join a multi-disciplined Health & Benefits (H&B) team within the Human Capital business at Aon. Contribute to a team delivering exceptional value to clients across Accident & Health, Private Health, and Group Life insurances. Opportunity to further develop Life insurance expertise and extend knowledge across other employee benefit insurances.
Responsibilities
- Provide advocacy and support services for a portfolio of Health & Benefits claims (predominantly Group Salary Continuance insurance).
- Assist individuals with the initial claims triage and assistance navigating the claims process.
- Work with our varied client base to support claimants throughout the claims process.
- Assist employers though the claims process.
- Strategic claims management, including attending claims meetings with insurers and ensuring appropriate claim and rehabilitation strategies are in place.
- Respond to client queries both email and by phone.
- Ensure the system and client data is accurately saved and maintained.
- Broaden your insurance knowledge by working closely with our team experts within the Health & Benefits team.
- Handle any further ad-hoc projects across the team as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in Group Life insurance for a Life insurer and/or consultant/broker or similar organisation, for example superannuation fund/similar.
- Superior levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple client engagements across a diverse range of clients and stakeholders.
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office suite, in-house designed databases).
- Superior time management and organisation skills with an ability to handle competing tasks.
- Exceptional communication skills to set and manage expectations at all levels both within Aon and with clients.
- Strong ability to be able to positively influence key decision makers.
- Passionate about relationship building and advocating for customers to get the best outcome.
- An eye for systems and process improvement.
