About the Role

Join the Wafer Test Solutions R&D team to develop next-generation on-wafer measurement systems for electrical and optical semiconductor testing. Drive the development of complex measurement systems spanning hardware, mechanics, motion control, and system integration.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical and mechanical subsystems, including PCB assemblies, precision positioning mechanisms, and measurement instrumentation.
• Work closely with firmware, software, manufacturing, and product support teams to translate customer and product requirements into innovative solutions.
• Take ownership of technical challenges from concept through product release, contributing to both individual components and overall system architecture.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Business-level proficiency in Japanese.
• Expertise in at least one of the following technical areas: electrical engineering, analog circuit design, semiconductor devices, measurement science, mechanical design, or high-precision motion control.
• Self-starter with the ability to quickly learn new technologies and drive projects from concept to implementation.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment with people at all levels of the organization.

Education Level

• BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
