About the Role
Lead and deliver the digital underwriting strategy for Aon Underwriting Managers (AUM), aligning technology, data and AI with business growth objectives. Represent AUM in the development and rollout of Aon’s Digital Placement Exchange (DPX) and wider placement platforms. Transform underwriting processes through digital solutions, data-driven decision making and algorithmic underwriting capabilities. Drive innovation and continuous improvement, identifying emerging technologies that enhance performance, efficiency and partner experience. Act as a visible change leader, embedding digital thinking and fostering adoption across underwriting teams. Engage and influence senior stakeholders across Aon and carrier partners, aligning digital initiatives with commercial objectives and delivering measurable business value. Serve on the AUM Executive Committee, helping shape the future operating model and digital agenda of the business.

Requirements
- Proven underwriting or delegated authority leader with strong experience of digital transformation and technology-enabled change.
- Strong understanding of London Market dynamics, underwriting operations and delegated authority frameworks.
- Strategic problem solver with a track record of delivering business change through collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility across underwriting, technology and commercial teams.
- Comfortable translating complex technical concepts into practical business opportunities and outcomes.
- Passionate about innovation, with the ability to inspire others and champion new ways of working.
