About the Role

Keysight is seeking a Post-Sales Application Engineer to provide technical support for Keysight's EDA products (ADS, EMPro) and data management products (SOS). This role also involves providing technical support for pre-sales activities. The primary goal is to ensure customer success by accurately understanding their challenges and offering optimal solutions, thereby maximizing product value.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Keysight EDA tools (ADS, EMPro) and data management products (SOS).
• Respond promptly and accurately to customer technical inquiries.
• Understand customer issues and backgrounds to propose optimal solutions and usage methods.
• Conduct training on Keysight EDA tools and data management products.
• Support sales activities by providing technical expertise for solution proposals.
• Collaborate closely with product development (R&D) and sales departments to resolve customer issues.
• Provide support through multiple channels including web portal, email, phone, and onsite visits.

Requirements

• Degree in electronics or physics, including RF/microwave and Digital knowledge.
• Typically 3 to 8 years of practical experience in System design, Digital or Circuit design.
• Significant knowledge of one or several of Keysight EDA Tools (ADS).
• Knowledge of design data management/version control.
• Significant background in non-Keysight EDA Tools like Sigrity, SIwave, HSPICE, HFSS environment.
• Good understanding of one or several of the following applications: High Speed Digital including Signal and Power Integrity, RFµW, Electromagnetic.
• Fluent in written and spoken Japanese.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with customers, Sales Organization and R&D.
• Proficiency with Cadence Skill.
• Expertise in Keysight's (Formerly ClioSoft's) SOS or other design data management solutions.
• Experience supporting web-based applications.
• Experience with PLM tools.
• System administration / networking.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in electronics, physics, or a related field.
• Desirable to have 3-8 years of practical experience in PCB design, high-speed digital applications, RF/MW circuit design, or data management.
• Desirable to have experience using Keysight EDA tools (ADS) or similar third-party tools (Sigrity, SIwave, HSPICE, HFSS).
• Desirable to have expertise in high-speed digital technologies (USB, DDR, Ethernet, etc.) and electromagnetic field analysis.
• Desirable to have basic programming skills (e.g., Python).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills for working with customers, sales, and development departments.
• Japanese language proficiency for smooth business operations.
• English communication skills (TOEIC > 650 desirable).
