About the Role
Communicate with clients via phone and email, provide insurance advice, and process client requests. Help drive sales and retention by supporting initiatives and upselling/cross-selling products. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with specific targets and building relationships with clients, colleagues, and industry professionals.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with clients via incoming phone queue, outgoing phone requests, and email in an efficient and positive manner
- Provide knowledgeable insurance advice to clients on current prices, coverage, and opportunities
- Stay up to date with insurer market change and follow all insurer and Aon workflows to ensure accuracy and minimize E&O exposure
- Advise and process client requests in insurer portals and our BMS ensuring all underwriting criteria is correct and the client informed to ensure mutually agreeable outcome
- Help drive results by supporting and implementing initiatives that will increase sales and retention opportunities within the Personal Lines team
- Upsell or cross-sell products/service to existing clients or new business prospects
- Build relationships with prospective clients, colleagues, underwriters, and industry professionals
Requirements
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
- This role is not eligible for sponsorship, and we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa or work permit.
- 2+ years’ experience in Home and Auto Personal Lines insurance with proven customer service success preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and prioritize requests while maintaining a positive attitude
- High level of organization, efficiency, and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proven ability to develop and deepen relationships with clients, colleagues, and insurer partners
- Valid provincial license is a requirement
- License for other provinces or open to take them is preferred
