About the Role
The Audit Quality function is seeking a Senior Project Coordinator, Audit Quality to provide administrative, operational, and project coordination. This role supports engagement teams, risk management, and national leadership to ensure consistent audit execution, compliance with standards, and continuous quality improvement.
Responsibilities
- Support various audit quality initiatives through project support with an organizational mindset.
- Collaborate with AQ team members and leaders to formulate communication and messaging around Audit Quality.
- Manage external stakeholders by coordinating meetings, preparing materials, organizing logistics, taking minutes, and tracking follow-up items.
- Provide project coordination by organizing timelines, tracking key activities, and following up on outstanding items.
- Ensure consistent execution of Audit Quality priorities by working closely with Audit Quality Leaders.
- Participate in the development of project management standards and methodologies.
- Develop and deliver progress reports and presentations to various audiences.
- Perform regular tasks and execute ad-hoc administrative, operational, and project work to support Audit Quality partners.
- Utilize PowerPoint skills for internal and external reporting and presentations.
- Support group HR processes, including managing on-boarding and rotational scheduling.
- Coordinate vacation schedules and manage resource needs.
- Conduct deep-dive assessments of current processes, technology use, and resource deployment.
- Quantify improvement opportunities and support business cases for change.
- Support process improvements and standardization, including task automation and efficiency creation.
- Engage with stakeholders and service line focus groups to assess current processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with technology and innovation teams to leverage digital tools, automation, and analytics for efficiency gains.
- Drive adoption of new processes and tools through clear communication, engagement, and training.
- Manage resistance to change through proactive stakeholder engagement and problem resolution.
- Manage key stakeholder relationships and support effective communication, coordination, and collaboration.
Requirements
- Demonstrates a high level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity when handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Strong project management and coordination skills, with the ability to organize priorities, manage timelines, and follow up on action items.
- Strong operational skills, with the ability to support process execution, documentation, tracking, and continuous improvement activities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft correspondence, prepare clear meeting minutes, and support high-quality documentation.
- Good judgment and analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy, completeness, and attention to detail.
- Advanced skills with Adobe and Microsoft products, in particular Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Copilot, and Teams.
- Capable of working independently, taking ownership of tasks, and proactively identifying where support is required.
- Ability to quickly and smoothly adapt to changing demands and support multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency and willingness to quickly learn proprietary software and new digital tools.
- Knowledge of automation tools is considered an asset.
- College diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience with an administrative assistant skill set.
