About the Role

The AI Strategy & Adoption Lead will drive AI adoption, engagement, and measurable outcomes across Gallagher's UK Trading Divisions and Enterprise Solutions. This business-facing role requires a strategic mindset to identify opportunities for AI to enhance operations, improve decision-making, and deliver value. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills are essential for collaborating with diverse teams and championing AI adoption.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary AI advocate and point of contact for UK Trading Divisions, ensuring alignment with Gallagher’s overall AI strategy.
Build relationships with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI to address business challenges.
Increase the use and value of AI investments by identifying, prioritizing, and sponsoring impactful use cases.
Collaborate with IT AI working groups and global AI committees to ensure effective implementation of AI initiatives.
Promote AI literacy within the business division, ensuring employees understand AI potential and limitations.
Ensure appropriate training is delivered to upskill teams for effective AI tool leverage.
Develop and deliver clear communications around AI initiatives, successes, and opportunities.
Actively participate in and contribute to the AI champions network.
Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement by championing AI initiatives.

Requirements

Proven background and understanding of AI technologies, their applications, and their potential impact on business processes.
Knowledge and experience of the general and Lloyds/London Insurance Market.
Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes.
Experience in organizing and facilitating workshops, focus groups, and training sessions.
Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and ethical considerations related to AI.
Extensive experience in business leadership, IT, or digital transformation roles, with a focus on AI or data analytics.
Demonstrated success in implementing AI initiatives and delivering measurable business value.
Familiarity with the insurance industry and its unique challenges is highly desirable.
