About the Role
Hourly Supervisors provide front-line shift supervision to Airport Customer Experience Specialists and shuttle drivers, ensuring compliance with all standards and holding staff accountable for daily customer service responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage shift duties of the ACES program, ensuring compliance with all standards, best practices, procedures, and policies.
- Communicate and lead daily shift briefings, assigning duties, and providing updates on events, weather, and safety.
- Provide guidance and direction for airport customer service operations.
- Prepare written end-of-shift and next-shift hand-off reports.
- Submit a basic daily report of accomplishments and customer tasks completed.
- Provide direction and counsel to team members and report concerns to the Airport Assistant Manager.
- Maintain a positive, professional environment in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards.
- Drive shuttles if drivers are unavailable.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have at least one year of experience in hospitality or customer service.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
- Must have a valid Driver's License and pass a motor vehicle record check.
- Must have the physical capacity to traverse continuously during an eight-hour shift or ten-hour shift with normal breaks and meal break.
- Must be able to work outdoors in all conditions with provided inclement weather gear.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more when needed.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language in order to create basic reports and communicate with travelers and staff.
- Must have basic knowledge of smartphone technology.
- Frequently required to reach with hands and arms, and to use hands and fingers to handle, finger, and steer.
- Specific vision abilities required include the ability to adjust focus.
- Must have the physical capacity to sit and drive a vehicle continuously during an eight-hour shift, with normal breaks.
