About the Role
We are seeking a Health/Nursing professional to join our school community as a full-time employee, covering a long-term parental leave. This role is crucial for supporting the health and well-being of our students and staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide first aid to students and staff in German and English.
- Care for chronically ill or special needs children.
- Develop care plans for special needs or medication administration.
- Communicate with parents and health authorities in German and English.
- Document and report health incidents according to German law.
- Act as the first point of contact for infectious disease outbreaks.
- Conduct health training for teaching staff and offer preventive measures.
- Plan and coordinate first aid training for staff.
Requirements
- Completed training or degree as a Health/Nursing professional.
- Professional nursing experience, preferably with children.
- Enjoy working with children.
- Empathetic, friendly, and positive in all interactions.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proactive, independent, reliable, and solution-oriented work approach.
- Excellent MS Office skills.
- Fluent in German and English.
