About the Role

Apple Pay is seeking an experienced Business Development professional to develop relationships and strategic alliances with e-commerce merchants, payment service providers, processors, and various enablers in Europe, focusing on encouraging the adoption of Apple Pay in merchant apps.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships and strategic alliances with e-commerce merchants, payment service providers, processors, and various enablers in Europe.
• Encourage adoption of Apple Pay in merchant apps.
• Collaborate with Apple Pay business leaders, Worldwide Developer Relations, product marketing, and engineering product teams to shape adoption strategies.
• Advise both technical and non-technical partner stakeholders, translating Apple Pay capabilities into practical adoption strategies.
• Help partners identify, navigate, and overcome technical or systemic complexities to drive adoption of new technology.
• Guide strategic partners through technical and business considerations to support their adoption decisions.
• Promote payment product adoption with various online merchant segments, PSPs, payment schemes, and processors.

Requirements

• Skilled business developer.
• Skilled at helping partners identify, navigate and overcome technical or systemic complexities to drive adoption of new technology.
• Proven success driving high-impact adoption outcomes that delivered against key business metrics.
• Experience guiding strategic partners through technical and business considerations to support their adoption decisions.
• Direct experience promoting payment product adoption with various online merchant segments, PSPs, payment schemes, and processors.
• Fluent English is required.
• Additional European languages are highly valued.
