About the Role
As a Grid Manager, you will develop grid connection strategies for wind, PV, and battery storage projects, assess grid capacities, and act as a central interface between project development, engineering, and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate grid connection situations for wind, PV, and battery storage projects.
- Develop and implement grid connection strategies, and assess grid capacities and site potentials.
- Manage grid connection applications and oversee the entire grid connection and approval process.
- Derive grid-technical requirements and integrate them into project development.
- Technically design grid connection concepts in collaboration with engineering and EPC teams.
- Manage interfaces with grid operators, authorities, appraisers, and internal departments.
- Monitor regulatory and political developments, and identify strategic opportunities and risks.
Requirements
- Degree or comparable qualification in a technical or energy management field.
- Professional experience in grid integration, grid connection, or project development in the renewable energy sector.
- Good knowledge of grid-technical and regulatory requirements.
- Analytical, structured, and self-reliant working style.
- Very good communication skills and strong interface management.
- Very good German language skills (written and spoken); English skills are a plus.
