About the Role
Arcadis is seeking a Network Engineer to plan, design, and optimize the company's network and security infrastructure, driving digital transformation and sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the planning, designing, and optimization of network and security infrastructure, including routers, switches, wireless, firewalls, VPN, and IPS/IDS.
- Provide network engineering support for IP telephony solutions and video conferencing systems.
- Plan and deploy other network and security related systems.
- Perform product evaluation and testing, research emerging technologies, and provide top-tier troubleshooting assistance to the Network Operations support team.
- Assist in defining the plan for Connectivity goals.
- Apply technical and business knowledge to ensure appropriate solutions are developed and deployed to meet business requirements.
- Curate Network Management & Monitoring Systems, ensuring they are updated, secure, and performing optimally.
- Assist in developing best-fit solutions for the business, considering security, risk, and continuation.
Requirements
- Provides 3rd level support.
- Involved in the crisis management team for high-priority incidents impacting domain services.
- Key stakeholder in determining readiness of new releases affecting production services.
- Experienced knowledge of relevant technical systems & tooling.
- Excellent analytical skills; handles complex issues consistently and decisively.
- Service delivery with partners and relevant Tech stakeholders.
- Network design and security infrastructure with Global Connectivity Manager and partners.
- Language proficiency.
- Self-traveling ability.
- Cloud Networking Fundamentals.
