About the Role

ENERTRAG is driving projects that are considered unthinkable by others, focusing on 100% fossil-free energy solutions. The company develops, builds, and operates energy solutions from wind, photovoltaics, and green hydrogen to advance the energy transition globally and completely replace fossil fuels. Join our team in Berlin or Dauerthal as a Manager Offtake Hydrogen & Derivatives (m/f/d) and work with us on our mission to sustainably generate renewable energies for a livable planet.

Responsibilities

Build a robust network with customers, authorities, and other market partners.
Maintain a PtX customer database.
Represent ENERTRAG at conferences and in associations.
Manage day-to-day customer and partner relations.
Identify customer needs and process inquiries.
Contribute to the development and standardization of modular PtX supply contracts.
Support the bankable and compliant structuring of contracts.
Accompany complex offtake negotiations in German and English.
Coordinate cross-functional deal teams.
Monitor key milestones.
Develop commercial concepts for the PtX sector with internal interfaces.
Work on topics such as pricing and volume models, indexations, and flexibilities.
Analyze market and competitive developments, regulatory frameworks, and funding mechanisms.
Prepare management reports, presentations, and decision papers tailored to the target audience.

Requirements

Completed studies in natural sciences, industrial engineering, economics, law, or a comparable field with a technical, commercial, or legal focus.
Initial practical experience in sales, trading, or legal fields, preferably in the energy industry.
Sound knowledge of German and European energy law.
Experience in contract development, bankability analyses, and collaboration with various departments.
Good technical understanding of complex products.
Knowledge of hydrogen production and handling.
Experience in process and contract management.
Experience with digital systems and tools.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and in a structured manner.
Possession of a Class B driver's license.
