About the Role
Texas Precious Metals is seeking a Communications Manager to own how the company and its related brands communicate with customers, media, and the broader marketplace. This role will lead customer communications, email strategy, newsletters, public relations, earned media, and executive thought leadership, translating business priorities and expertise into clear, credible messaging.
Responsibilities
- Own communications strategy, messaging, and cadence across customer and prospect audiences.
- Develop email strategies, segmented communication journeys, recurring newsletters, customer updates, campaign emails, educational communications, announcements, and lifecycle messaging.
- Partner with Digital Marketing on audience segmentation, automation, platform execution, deployment, and communication-performance insights.
- Develop messaging for company announcements, product launches, partnerships, business developments, and major organizational milestones.
- Draft and edit corporate communications, executive talking points, statements, presentations, press releases, briefing materials, and other external-facing content.
- Manage relationships with PR agencies, media partners, and external communications resources while identifying proactive earned-media opportunities.
- Support media outreach, inbound press opportunities, executive interviews, reputation communications, and issue communications.
- Develop executive thought leadership, articles, commentary, contributed content, and educational content across precious metals, markets, storage, investing, collecting, and related topics.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- 4–5 years of experience in communications, public relations, corporate communications, email marketing, editorial content, or a related field.
- Experience developing email campaigns, newsletters, lifecycle or journey-based communications, press releases, and external communications.
- Ability to shift naturally between consumer communications, corporate messaging, and more sophisticated industry or institutional content.
- Experience with email or CRM platforms such as Klaviyo is helpful but not required.
- Curiosity about markets, business, investing, and culture is important.
- Understanding and appreciation of Texas culture and values such as independence, straightforwardness, accountability, relationships, and earned trust.
- Ability to perform standard computer-based and office work for extended periods.
- Ability to participate in in-office meetings, interviews, and occasional company or media-related activities.
