About the Role
This is a hands-on role responsible for ensuring meeting rooms, audio-visual technology, events, and IT services run seamlessly across the Group. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional support to employees, clients, and visitors, combining AV expertise, event coordination, and IT support to create a smooth and reliable workplace experience.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, support, check, and maintain all meeting rooms, including Q-Sys, Logitech, Sennheiser, and similar technologies.
- Lead planning, execution, and support for internal and external events and pitches, with willingness to travel offsite around London.
- Manage audio streaming, events, and presentations across office spaces.
- Ensure all AV and operational equipment is in working order, reporting faults via onsite procedures.
- Safeguard sensitive materials related to presentations, events, and broadcasts.
- Provide administrative assistance, including responding to requests and tickets, gathering information for meetings, and handling inquiries.
- Assist staff and clients in using fixed and portable AV equipment for meetings and conferences.
- Support scheduling of AV services, events, and meetings.
- Maintain operational databases for all AV and Meeting room hardware.
- Act as the IT/AV point of contact for operational event support needs, responding to tickets from end users efficiently.
- Lead the setup and management of AV equipment and systems, including off-site pitches.
- Assist with IT support duties including incident response, troubleshooting, imaging devices, user onboarding/offboarding, Office 365 administration, and troubleshooting hardware/software issues.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure events and meetings run seamlessly.
- Meet regularly with cross-functional teams to ensure all bases are covered for events, off-site pitches, and general meeting room functionality.
Requirements
- Expertise in Microsoft Teams Rooms and audio-visual technologies.
- A CTS certification.
- Deep understanding of IT networks and the technology behind AV equipment, notably QSys, Logitech, network patching/troubleshooting.
- ITIL 4 Foundation Certified or a good understanding of ITIL principles, specifically Incident Management.
- Best-in-class user service and communication skills, with the ability to remove technical jargon.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 support (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
- Hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting (Windows and Mac laptops and peripherals).
- Windows 11 and macOS support experience.
- Incident and ticket management using tools like ServiceNow or Fresh Service.
- Printer troubleshooting experience.
- Experience with events and conferences, including operating sound desks, visuals, and cameras.
- Hands-on knowledge of procedures for installation, modification, maintenance, and repair of IT/AV hardware and software.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.
- A proactive team player, actively contributing to the workplace culture.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong IT proficiency, particularly in AV and event technologies.
