About the Role
Own the end-to-end UX and product design for key digital customer journeys on a global scale, transforming e-commerce pages into genuine product education and improving usability and conversion. Shape UX standards and contribute to a lightweight design system.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end UX and UI across key e-commerce journeys, with a strong mobile-first focus.
- Lead the redesign of the website towards an attractive, modern, and sharp design that matches the premium positioning in the outdoor living niche.
- Turn product pages into clear educational experiences that answer customer questions about pergolas and awnings, reducing friction and communicating product value.
- Use research, analytics, and usability testing to validate design decisions and continuously improve usability and conversion.
- Build and maintain a lightweight design system and reusable components that create a consistent, affordable premium experience.
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Content, and Marketing to align user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in UX and product design, ideally within e-commerce or consumer-facing digital products.
- A strong portfolio showing end-to-end ownership, from problem framing to polished UI and validated outcomes.
- Solid visual craft and the ability to express a brand through clean, mobile-first design.
- Hands-on experience with research, usability testing, and analytics to inform and defend design decisions.
- Experience building or maintaining design systems and reusable components (nice to have).
