About the Role
Join our growing SEO team in London as a proactive, curious, and ambitious SEO Executive. This role is part of the Total Search department, encompassing SEO, Paid Search, AI Discovery, Social SEO, and Digital PR. You will collaborate with the SEO Manager to implement effective organic search strategies for clients in the live events and fashion sectors across the UK and US. The position offers opportunities to work beyond traditional SEO, including social search, AI discovery, and digital PR, with full training provided.
Responsibilities
- Support a range of clients across live entertainment, venues, and fashion ecommerce in the UK and US.
- Conduct keyword, audience, competitor, search trends, and search-intent research across traditional search engines and social/AI platforms.
- Deliver on-page optimization for website content, including structure, metadata, internal linking, and CMS implementation.
- Identify content gaps and growth opportunities, develop SEO content strategies, briefs, and roadmaps.
- Contribute to technical SEO audits and support issue implementation.
- Provide recommendations for link opportunities and digital PR activities.
- Report on organic performance weekly and monthly, and execute tasks from the SEO roadmap.
- Support client meetings, reporting sessions, QBRs, campaign reviews, and presentations.
- Utilize AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT for efficiency while maintaining accuracy and quality.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in an SEO role, ideally within an agency or fast-paced environment.
- Approximately 6-12+ months of hands-on SEO experience.
- Practical experience in content-led and on-page SEO, including keyword research, content optimization, and search intent analysis.
- Familiarity with common content management systems like WordPress.
- Good working knowledge of technical and off-site SEO, with the ability to identify issues and make recommendations.
- Experience using SEO and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Semrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog) is desirable.
- Experience producing SEO performance reports and working with dashboard tools like Looker Studio.
- Understanding of how SEO contributes to wider marketing objectives.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into insights and actions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive and organized approach, with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
- Curious, forward-thinking mindset with an interest in social search and AI.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Desire to learn, experiment, and contribute to team development.
