About the Role
To deliver tasks and processes in support of ICE Services’ critical monthly financial distribution service to its customers, including planning, scheduling, and completion of quality control checks on all distributions. This is a temporary position, limited to a 1-year contract, with a start date as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Lead ICE Services commitments to customers for online royalty distribution, reconciling system output and performing quality control checks.
- Review distribution schedules, completing specific checks and reconciliations with high accuracy.
- Reconcile, review, and clear down balance sheet accounts related to Royalty Creditors.
- Assist with customer queries regarding monthly distributions.
- Complete reconciliations for distribution accounts and adhere to strict deadlines.
- Review bank payment files, completing specific checks for accuracy and unusual activity.
- Communicate issues to the Finance Director/Senior Finance Analyst and liaise with support teams as needed.
- Prepare finance journals as required.
- Support the team in completing year-end and internal audit requests.
- Perform ad hoc tasks, including analysis of finance and distribution systems.
Requirements
- Excellent financial modelling skills and experience.
- Excellent data gathering, reporting, and analysis skills.
- Excellent Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, V-Lookups).
- Strong Stakeholder Engagement.
- Experience in the use of accounting systems and accounting principles.
- Experience with financial planning and reporting systems, such as Cognos BI, is highly advantageous.
- Experience within an analytical role and/or a high-volume transactional company is desirable.
- Self-motivated with good organizational and communication skills.

- Ability to act corporately and work effectively across organizational boundaries.
