About the Role
Lead architectural and interior design projects from concept to implementation, ensuring high-quality design integration and client satisfaction. Oversee design strategy, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage project execution for luxury residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors.
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of architectural and interior design projects, ensuring high-quality design integration.
- Lead the design development from initial concept to final implementation.
- Serve as the primary client contact for architectural and interior design aspects.
- Manage client meetings, gather feedback, and refine designs.
- Oversee architectural concepts, space planning, materials, and finishes.
- Lead interior design strategy for luxury residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.
- Collaborate with designers, contractors, consultants, and vendors for smooth project execution.
- Liaise with third-party suppliers or external teams for cohesive design integration.
- Manage and oversee internal teams such as 3D visualization, procurement, and design departments.
- Coordinate with external teams for integrated exterior and interior design.
- Lead the creation of functional and aesthetic floor plans and elevations.
- Optimize space usage, ensuring designs meet client specifications and local building codes.
- Manage and review detailed 2D architectural drawings.
- Curate and select materials and furnishings supporting the design vision.
- Manage the logistics and procurement of FF&E, including internationally sourced items.
- Create and manage detailed specification sheets adhering to hospitality standards.
- Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
- Lead client presentations and meetings to discuss concepts, plans, and revisions.
- Keep clients informed of project progress and address concerns promptly.
- Provide regular updates on architectural and interior design milestones.
- Visit project sites regularly to ensure design implementation and maintain design integrity.
- Develop and manage project schedules for design and architecture phases.
- Monitor progress and address delays to maintain project timelines.
- Mentor and guide junior designers and team members.
- Collaborate with other departments for a holistic design approach.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in interior design and architecture.
- Attend key industry events and conferences.
- Maintain organized and detailed project documentation.
- Ensure all project documents are signed and filed according to company standards.
- Manage the sample room and organization of materials from local suppliers.
Requirements
- Expertise in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other industry-standard design tools.
- Familiarity with 3D rendering software is a plus.
- Ability to travel as required for project-related activities.
- Proven experience in luxury residential, commercial, and hospitality design.
- Strong portfolio showcasing relevant projects.
- Ability to lead projects from start to finish, managing both architectural and interior design responsibilities.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments and meeting tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to think creatively and solve complex design challenges.
