About the Role

The candidate will support Engineering and Production groups with the setup and operation of equipment such as Vibration Systems and Thermal Cycling to perform moderate to highly complex environmental tests regarding temperature and various types of vibration.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and uses monitoring and control equipment and instrumentation including temperature, thermocouples, data loggers, vibration controls, accelerometer systems, pressure and air flow instrumentation, and various test and measurement systems.
• Conducts simulated environmental tests following standard test methods and procedures.
• Works with engineering procedures/instructions and/or verbal instructions.
• Processes and compiles product data in complete data packages, including quality information and defect recording.
• Maintains test logbooks with pertinent test information.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Direct experience working on Unholtz Dickie or similar Vibration systems
• Experience using Thermotron Temperature Chambers
• Basic Computer skills in a MS Windows environment
