About the Role
You will hold our operational processes together – contracts, orders, the asset portfolio, reporting, and processing with partners and customers. In short: You ensure that deals become cleanly processed, active assets. We are growing fast – the role involves building and scaling as well as day-to-day business: You will optimize processes and implement them, both internally and with partners and customers. You will report directly to the COO, work closely with sales and finance, and participate in projects of the Finance Elements Group – for example, when we optimize leasing and financing structures or participate in tenders.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the asset portfolio – inventory, renewals, remarketing, end-of-life.
- Operationally process DaaS/rental and partner contracts in close cooperation with our customers, partners, and internal departments – terms, residual value and lifecycle logic, billing.
- Manage orders, pay suppliers quickly, onboard and activate assets cleanly.
- Create reports and analyses for partners, customers, and internally – primarily in Excel and PowerPoint, with AI support, with a consistent focus on data quality.
- Communicate independently with partners and customers – as the first operational point of contact.
- Participate in projects of the FEG with its subsidiaries ctrl-up and CSC, in close coordination with sales and finance.
- Make manual processes faster and better with tooling and automation (we work intensively with Claude AI, N8N etc.).
Requirements
- Commercial background and at least three years of experience in contract processing, operations, or commercial administration – with independent case processing and direct customer contact.
- You know DaaS: whether from a financier, a system house, or from the OEM side, it doesn't matter to us.
- Fundamental understanding of leasing and DaaS contracts and their operational implementation throughout the entire lifecycle – from procurement to device return – as well as the purchase, leasing, rental, and as-a-Service models.
- Financial and contractual understanding: calculation, residual value and refinancing logic, margins and billing mechanics, as well as the back-to-back logic between refinancing and partner.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; proficient in M365 and CRM (e.g., HubSpot); advanced user knowledge and understanding of generative AI, its application and limitations; quick familiarization with new tools.
- Analytical work with numbers: You prepare and check calculations, invoices, and offer or tender documents for plausibility.
- Willingness to work on projects alongside day-to-day business – you deliver on time and document cleanly.
- Careful data maintenance and enjoyment of improving processes.
- Very good German, good English.
- Initiative, commitment, and an independent, practice-oriented way of working.
- Basic knowledge of financial mathematics is advantageous but not a must.
- Market knowledge (common conditions, competition) is advantageous but not a must.
- Technical understanding of IT hardware and device lifecycle is advantageous but not a must.
- Experience with automation/low-code and in service and process management is advantageous but not a must.

About the Company
- ctrl-up is part of the Finance Elements Group (FEG) and the neutral financing partner and enabler behind many Device-as-a-Service offerings in the German market. We make IT-as-a-Service possible for system houses: They offer their customers flexible rental models for IT assets – we handle refinancing, residual value, and end-of-life risk in the background, manage data logistics and partner coordination. White Label: Our partner remains visible, we work in the background. Manufacturer-neutral, no vendor lock-in. Our customers range from medium-sized businesses to corporations. We are growing strongly – small, experienced team, short paths, a lot of scope for design and real development work instead of finished structures.
- Imagine your working days starting where others go on vacation – among boat masts, seagull calls, and the gentle movement of the water. Our harbor is more than just a backdrop: it is the meeting point for a team that combines consulting, data, and financing expertise with the dynamics of a start-up. Here, strategy discussions merge with a view of the water, ideas arise during a walk on the jetty – and innovation suddenly feels very easy.
- We are the Finance Elements Group – an association of consulting, data, and financing expertise.
Equal Opportunity
- Selection is made exclusively based on qualifications and suitability. We welcome applications regardless of gender, age, ethnic origin, religion or belief, disability, and sexual identity. Severely disabled applicants and those with equivalent status will be given preferential consideration in case of equal suitability.
