About the Role
LCRA is seeking a detail-oriented Materials & Logistics Coordinator to join a tight-knit team that ensures the timely delivery of materials across its service territory. Responsibilities
- Travel independently or with other team members to various locations to perform job duties.
- Communicate with truck drivers, trucking dispatchers and other material specialists to coordinate deliveries at warehouse(s) and multiple laydown yards.
- Provide material expertise and coordination to work crews in materials planning, procurement and receiving functions.
- Communicate with suppliers and project teams to ensure vendor-procured materials are delivered to the appropriate location in a timely and accountable manner.
- Perform appropriate documentation of all inventory, planning and procurement activities.
- Create records and reports as needed to ensure LCRA policies and internal controls objectives.
- Operate heavy equipment to safely load/unload the receipt of materials.
Requirements
- Five or more years of experience in logistics, materials planning, inventory control, inventory management or warehouse operations or relevant experience.
