About the Role
Applies professional expertise and judgment to support human resources (Generalist) activities and business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Perform front line HR duties for assigned country including performing complex investigation, handling non-routine employee issues, performing complex compensation analysis, interpreting and advising management.
- Assess HR issues that require considerable judgment and risk management where EW policies and practices do not exist.
- Prepare talent development review (TDR) materials, facilitate TDR meetings, and train new managers on process.
- Design and administer more complex proactive programs, procedures and plans as it relates to driving employee engagement and employee relations, change management, talent development.
- Manage the recruitment cycle, including interviews, selection, agency cooperation, job posting, system usage, and hiring manager support.
- Oversee the onboarding and orientation process for new employees.
- Prepare payroll documentation and communicate with external payroll providers.
- Administer and implement internal policies in compliance with corporate requirements and local legal/social/economic restrictions.
- Ensure proper use and compliance of all HR systems, maintaining up-to-date data.
- Stay informed about the market situation and monitor local labor market developments.
- Investigate complex employee complaints in partnership with the legal department and recommend solutions.
- Lead special projects such as RIFs, acquisitions/divestitures, litigation support, and process improvement initiatives.
- Provide coaching and guidance to lower-level HR specialists/representatives.
- Perform other incidental duties as assigned.
Requirements
- HR Diploma and 4 years of previous related Human Resources experience, including employee relations.
- Business Administration degree and 4 years of previous related Human Resources experience, including employee relations.

- Extensive knowledge and understanding of EW policies, procedures, and requirements.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of applicable federal and state employment laws and compliance implications.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite.
- Working knowledge of HR systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, Taleo).
